DUBLIN, OH, USA, March 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – As corruption has clouded the political landscape, Ohio Senate candidate Mark Pukita is demanding financial and political transparency from all current and future candidates for the open seat of the US in 2022 Senate in Ohio.

Pukita calls on the Ohio Republican Party’s Central Committee to provide a 10-year tax return, their most recent Social Security Statement, and a pro forma report on U.S. Senate financial disclosure (that of all seated U.S. citizens is required) to request senators).

A review of the 10 year tax return and these other details would give Ohio primary voters the financial transparency and confidence necessary to have a fair and honest election.

Mark Pukita also believes there is a need for the state and county republican central committees to pledge not to endorse candidates during the primary process. Primary endorsements give the approved candidate an unfair political and financial advantage. Political insiders shouldn’t vote for Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate. That choice should be left to the Republican primary voters only. Pukita welcomes the county central committees who have already done so.

In addition, Mark Pukita urges all current and future candidates to uncover the source of the dark money donations made during their campaigns. The political giving of the secondary source (also known as “dark money”) has tarnished the image of the political process. Dark money is not illegal, but it should be exposed. It is important for Ohio Republican primary voters to know who is supporting each candidate.
