Tongue River Track athlete Carleigh Reish

Tongue River’s Carleigh Reish made a fresh start to the track and field season in 2019 when she won the 2A State Championship in the long jump at 16’6 ”. That year, State Meet, she finished 3rd in the 200-meter run and 6th in the high jump.

Fast forward to 2021 and Reish started the season with four wins at the Greybull meeting and took 3rd place in the 100 and 3rd place in the high jump at the Buffalo meeting last week.

She ran 13.26 in the 100, 27.14 in the 200 to finish 6th, and won the high jump 4-11 for the bronze medal. Reish is a solid all-around athlete who was an all-state volleyball player for Tongie River last season. He was an all-conference selection in basketball averaging 9 points per game.
