Parents and children, the wait is almost over. After more than 15 months of closure, the Cincinnati Children’s Museum will reopen on July 1st. The museum has been closed since March 2020. Ticket reservations for members of the Museum Center began on Monday morning. Non-members can purchase tickets and make reservations from June 16. CMC says reservations are made to plan for the right crowd. CMC is still working with limited capacity. The goal is to let 200 people per hour into the children’s museum. All guests aged two and over must wear a mask unless they have an illness. “Most of the people who enter the Children’s Museum are children and they are not old enough to be vaccinated,” said Cody Hefner , Vice President of Marketing and Communications at CMC, told WLWT. “So we’re still wearing masks to protect them, to protect other people with underlying health problems because we’re close to, but we’re not out of the woods yet.” CMC says reservations are only required for the Children’s Museum .
