Progress continues as the $ 250 million FC Cincinnati Stadium in the West End prepares for its scheduled first game in mid-May. CityBeat took a tour to see how the arena was developing.
The stadium, which will hold 26,000 fans, is wrapped in glowing “fins” that officials plan to turn on in mid-March.
All seats are covered by the stadium’s 360-degree roof, under which guests can find beers such as Rhingeist, Sam Adams or Heineken at concession stands.
The stadium’s First Financial Club, the largest club in the building, stretches across the entire east side of the stadium and houses a beer hall with 40 taps and a focus on craft beers. The hall is inspired by the renaissance of the Rhine.
Cincinnati FC began selling season tickets on February 24th. Prices start at $ 325 for the season (at the Bailey) and rise to $ 900.
