Take a look inside the new Andrew J Brady ICON Music Center in Cincinnati

The Andrew J Brady ICON Music Center at The Banks is MEMI’s new riverside music venue in Cincinnati.

The ultra-modern location, which is to open in summer 2021, has a main floor and two balcony levels with a view of the indoor stage. The venue has a capacity of 4,500 spectators indoors and 8,000 on the upcoming outdoor stage.

And while it’s common for new sports and entertainment arenas to sell naming rights to companies or arts organizations to mark the name of a major donor in a new venue, the new spot is named after a longtime music educator and musician from Cincinnati.

The Andrew J Brady ICON Music Center is named after Andrew J. Brady, a 1938 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Brady later became music director at Western Hills High School and a jazz musician who worked with various youth programs over the years.
