He loved going for a walk anytime, anywhere

He loved visiting Jamaica and wanted to return one day.

He loved all animals, but birds had a special place in his heart.

He loved all of the music from the 70s and 80s, especially rock and roll. Pink Floyd’s The Wall was his favorite album.

When he wasn’t working, he liked to be at home, watch TV and go for walks.

He was a good worker, seldom missed a day at work, and often stayed long.

He liked to keep his hair long and said it was his “signature look”.

Although he had a troubled life in his childhood, he endured everything and did the best he tried. He had many friends and they called him a respectful and thoughtful person and he was always a gentleman.

Steven was preceded in death by his father Jack Bering and mother Janet Bering.

Steven is survived by his sister Sandra Yuellig (Gene), Sherrie Taylor, Mark Bering, and Neal Bering (Leigh Anne), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
