Shaquille O’Neal is originally from New Jersey and is considered one of the most influential basketball players in NBA history. O’Neill’s exceptional personality and athleticism at 7 feet 1 and over 325 pounds has earned him worldwide recognition and has become one of the most passionate sports and entertainment following. In 19 seasons he was named 15 All-Stars, played in 6 franchises and was known to many as “the most dominant player in history”. He has had success in acting, music, television and games since the end of his career and is now an analyst on the Inside the NBA.
Significantly, O’Neill’s relationship with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America dates back to his youth in New Jersey.
