Rico, the cutest porcupine in the world, is celebrating his 5th birthday at the Cincinnati Zoo

Viral sensation Rico the porcupine celebrated his fifth birthday on Friday at the Cincinnati Zoo. The little porcupine, who gained worldwide attention for a strangely cute video of him eating peanut butter, celebrated with a special cake made from all of his favorite treats, including a peanut.Some of Rico’s friends even came to the party. Watch the video in the player above. The Brazilian porcupine spends most of its time in the canopy and is a skilled climber. Large curved claws, bare soles, and a prehensile tail help the large rodents grab branches as they move through the trees. The muscular tail is almost as long as the body and essentially acts as a fifth limb.
