Morning and afternoon performances during school hours. Morning, afternoon and evening performances Friday-Sunday.

AUNT EM: Feminine identification, Dorothy’s aunt. Life has not made it easy for her and otherwise makes little promises. Sometimes tough on Dorothy, but acts out of love.

DOROTHY: Feminine identification, sparkling eyes and as alive as possible. Prefer to stay a child for as long as possible instead of taking on the responsibility of being an adult.

UNCLE HENRY: Male identification, Dorothy’s uncle. Physically shabby from years of hard work on the farm. Often acts as the voice of reason to Aunt Em.

ADDAPERLE: Any gender, any age, good witch of the north. Has magical powers they call “performing tricks”. Their magical abilities do not always unfold as they would like.

SCARECROW: Any gender, any age, tired of being a scarecrow and the prospect of nowhere to go. Goes on a journey to see The Wiz in hopes that they can provide a brain.

TIN MAN: Any gender, any age, one person at a time. Lost all of her limbs to a cursed ax. Participates in the journey in the hope that The Wiz will give them a heart because “looking good is not enough”.

LION: Any gender, any age, travels the jungle and scares people, but has “a yellow stripe that is a mile wide”. The cowardice state comes from deeper mother problems and gets. Take the trip to The Wiz for some courage.

THE WIZ: Any gender, any age, almighty leader over the land of Oz. Hides their true nature behind the facade of a spirited leader. Your real identity is a mystery.

EVILLENE: Any gender, any age, wicked witch of the west. Low evil. No kind bone in her body, no kind thought in her rotten mind.

GLINDA: Any gender, any age, good witch of the south. The most beautiful of all witches. Very wise in show business.

ENSEMBLE: A group of adults, teens, and children who play a wide variety of characters and features, including Munchkins, Citizens of Oz, Gatekeepers, Lord High Underling, Winged Monkeys, and lead roles. I am looking for extremely strong and versatile dancers, singers, actors. Tumbling and tapping ability a HUGE plus.
