WARREN – The four Ohio casinos set another sales record in April, breaking the previous month’s all-time high.

According to the latest data from the Ohio Casino Control Commission, revenue last month was $ 92.5 million, up about 1 percent from March.

Data from April 2020 are not available. The casinos were closed due to the pandemic and did not reopen until June 18.

Table sales helped drive the record month of $ 26.8 million from $ 23.6 million in March. Slot sales declined to $ 65.6 million from $ 68 million in March.

Hollywood Columbus Casino was the top revenue for the month at $ 24.6 million. In addition, at $ 21.3 million, Hard Rock Cincinnati Casino was the highest monthly sum ever booked for the property, according to the commission.

Hollywood Casino Columbus, Hollywood Casino Toledo and JACK Cleveland Casino have recorded the four highest monthly totals since opening.
