Ohio Casinos Have Recorded Revenue News, Sports, Jobs

WARREN – The four Ohio casinos set another sales record in April, breaking the previous month’s all-time high.

Revenue last month was $ 92.5 million, up about 1 percent from March, according to the latest data from the Ohio Casino Control Commission.

There are no data for April 2020. The casinos were closed due to the pandemic and did not reopen until June 18.

The table revenue helped drive the record month of $ 26.8 million from $ 23.6 million in March. Slot sales declined to $ 65.6 million from $ 68 million in March.

Hollywood Columbus Casino was the month’s revenue leader at $ 24.6 million. Hard Rock Cincinnati Casino’s $ 21.3 million was the highest monthly sum ever booked for the property, according to the commission.

Hollywood Casino Columbus, Hollywood Casino Toledo, and JACK Cleveland Casino recorded the first four monthly totals since they opened.
