New York Riptide and Westhampton Beach Brewing Company launch Riptide Double IPA

NEW YORK – New York Riptide and Westhampton Beach Brewing Company are proud to announce the launch of the special edition Riptide Double India Pale Ale. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Riptide Double IPA will go to the Boomer Esiason Foundation, which raises money, awareness and support for the cystic fibrosis community.

Riptide Double IPA is available for purchase now in the tasting room and brewery of Westhampton Beach Brewing Company in Westhampton Beach. The beer will be available in stores in Long Island and Westchester Counties, New York, in the coming months and will be available year round.

“We are very excited to be working with Westhampton Beach Brewing Company to bring a Riptide-inspired beer to market,” he said Rich Lisk, Executive Vice President of GF Sports & Entertainment. “Our shared values in the community and our pride in Long Island brought us together to create this exciting drink. We are also honored to help the Long Island-based Boomer Esiason Foundation, whose inspirational work in the fight against cystic fibrosis has been immeasurable. “

“As a kid on Long Island, I grew up holding a lacrosse racket and playing the sport I love,” he said Brian Sckipp, Co-Founder of Westhampton Beach Brewing Company. “Today I am very happy that a company I co-founded, Westhampton Beach Brewing Company, has developed a new craft beer, Riptide Double IPA, in collaboration with the New York Riptide and the Boomer Esiason Foundation. Boomer, a voice Long Islanders have admired for so long, has consistently supported the sport of Long Island and various charities over the years. We have worked hard to create a strong, vibrant and special brew that will represent the strength and courage of those battling cystic fibrosis. We are honored and humbled to join this good cause. This partnership enables me to be part of my favorite sport again and to contribute to an important charitable work. “

“The Boomer Esiason Foundation would like to sincerely thank our friends at the Riptide Organization and Westhampton Beach Brewing Company for their generosity and partnership,” he said Gunnar Esiason, Patient Services Director, Boomer Esiason Foundation. “We look forward to continuing our mission to inspire and support the cystic fibrosis community.”

Riptide Double IPA is dry-hopped twice with hops from Citra, Eldorado and Rakau. This combination creates great citrus notes of apricot and orange on the nose. As an allusion to the IPA on the west coast, this DIPA starts with a light hop. Enjoy the flavors of mango, light grapefruit and candy that end with a nice warming effect of 8.8% ABV.

The can’s color scheme in navy blue, orange and meerschaum green captures the traditional team colors of the New York National League Lacrosse Club.
