Former Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel, who is running for the US Senate, was joined by the Republican National Committee’s weekend retreat on April 9, Axios.com reported.
Almond, who was an uninvited guest at the event at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, Florida, worked in the crowd and spoke to top donors, Axios reported.

Jane Timken, leader of the Ohio Republican Party and Mandel’s Republican elementary school opponent, was an invited guest, according to Axios, which gave her an edge in attracting top donors.
Mandel, along with others without ID, was asked to leave prior to the opening of the official events.
Several attempts to reach Almond have been unsuccessful.
