CINCINNATI – Kroger will offer a COVID-19 testing site for eligible patients on Thursday and Friday.
Healthcare workers are expected to perform 250 tests per day at the site, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dunham Recreation Center in Cincinnati. Click here to register for a test.
The test is free for those who are eligible.
People who need a test use a virtual screening tool provided by the Centers for Disease Control to determine if they are eligible. Patients eligible for the test are based on recommendations from the CDC, state, and local authorities.
Patients who are eligible for a test must complete the documentation prior to the appointment. When a patient arrives for a test, they should have photo identification ready and keep all windows rolled up until instructed otherwise.
The test consists of a self-administered nasal swab ordered and observed by a doctor. This test method limits the use of personal protective equipment.
Test results are expected within 48 hours.
The tests are supported by laboratory services provided by eTrueNorth, a contractor to the United States Department of Health.
