Remarkable

The Bearcats won for the third consecutive year at Wichita State on Thursday, defeating the Shockers 80-79 in a three-point game from Jarron Cumberland by 3.5 seconds. Cumberland finished the game with 24 points and five assists. Keith Williams had 17 points, Chris Vogt had 12 points and three blocks, and Trevon Scott added nine points and the game’s best 11 rebounds. … UConn won 72-56 in Tulsa on Thursday. James Bouknight was leading with 22 points.
