Great American Insurance launches a musical instruments program

The Great American Insurance Group’s alternative markets division has launched a new insurance program that covers musical instruments.

Great American is partnering with Heritage Insurance Services to offer the new national musical instrument insurance program. The 30-year program is focused on covering fine musical instruments in the United States and currently supports over 10,000 customers.

The special program offers musical instrument dealers, manufacturers and workshops special coverage as part of the Heritage “Workbench Policy”, which was specially developed for the music art trade. For owners of fine musical instruments, coverage of a heritage instrumental policy is offered.

“We are proud to have this relationship with Heritage as a sponsor,” said Rich Suter, division president of Great American Alternative Markets. “Heritage is a perfect example of the value experienced Program Administrators bring to the market – unmatched expertise, exclusive coverage and tailored services for policyholders.”

“Great American was a breath of fresh air in terms of day one commitment to our specialty program. Your team fully considered our unique program and our clients’ needs very early in the program underwriting and throughout the transition process, ”said Ellis W. Hershman, vice president of Heritage Insurance Services, program director.

Hershman also mentioned that Great American’s state-of-the-art computer dispensing and maintenance capabilities kept Heritage running smoothly during the digital transition process.
