George Clooney is scheduled to be in Worcester on Monday to see scenes from ‘The Tender Bar’.

George Clooney and the cast of “The Tender Bar” are scheduled to film on Monday at the old Commerce High School on Sudbury Street, Worcester.

Filming moved to Ipswich on Friday.

Clooney, director and actor Ben Affleck, spent much of Thursday filming outdoor scenes on Maverick Street in Fitchburg.

The film is shot in various locations in Massachusetts.

The film is based on the memories of Pulitzer Prize-winning writer JR Moehringer, who started out as a news assistant for the New York Times in the mid-1980s.

Earlier this week, a prop crew prepared the former Commerce High for filming. The building, which has not been used as a school for many years, is in downtown Worcester.

Some believe that the old school will be opening a New York Times newsroom.
