CJ Wilcher announced on Friday that he has found his new home.
After playing as a newcomer to Xavier last season, Wilcher was one of four musketeers who entered the transfer portal. After a week on the portal, Wilcher announced on Friday that he would be traveling to Nebraska.

“I would like to thank my coaches at Xavier for welcoming me (with) open arms and my team-mates for welcoming me as a brother. It was a tough decision, but when that is said I will go to them University of Nebraska commit. “Wilcher wrote on Twitter.
Wilcher’s departure from Xavier was a bit shocked after showing signs at the end of last season, making a start and extending the playing time. However, when shooter Nate Johnson announced that he would be returning to Xavier as a fifth-year senior next season, it affected the amount of playing time available in that position.
