FINDLAY, Ohio –
Werk-Brau introduces the PowerGrip bucket, a multi-purpose bucket that improves the sorting, digging and clamshell functions of a machine with control.
With a jaw opening of 120 degrees and a clamping force that is three times as high as a standard thumb, the PowerGrip eliminates the need for additional fastenings. The precise control enables the user to cleverly place materials where it is desired the first time. The construction includes a closed rotary drive hinge in the cross tube. There are no exposed cylinders or other external moving parts, and no clogging of the jaw or bucket housing, reducing the risk of downtime due to cylinder failure. The clamping force is constant over the entire range of movement of the jaws, and the operator can maintain a load regardless of the positioning. With the same force exerted on both sides, the jaw will not twist during use. This quick connect compatible design uses the existing auxiliary hydraulic circuit and includes standard OEM spade lugs for quick and easy installation.
Werk-Brau PowerGrip buckets come in a variety of sizes and widths to fit machines weighing up to 50,000 pounds. There are customization options available that are ideal for handling rocks, scrap, wood, and more. Two different cutting edges within one bucket allow the operator to switch between digging and trenching without switching buckets.
High strength steel is used throughout the welding. Hardened, lubricious bushings are used at all pivot points. Conical side plates reduce wear on the sides of the bucket and allow easier emptying. A large number of tooth options or screw-on cutting edges are available for adapting PowerGrip to special requirements.
