Duke Energy Holiday Trains return to the Cincinnati Museum Center on November 13th

CINCINNATI – Everything on board!

One of Cincinnati’s most popular holiday traditions, the Duke Energy Holiday Trains exhibit opens at the Cincinnati Museum Center on November 13th.

The train exhibit is part of the museum’s Holiday Junction event, which also features a light and Lego display, an interactive picture book, and even a visit from Santa Claus.

The Duke Energy Holiday Trains have been an icon in Queen City for more than 70 years. They first debuted downtown in 1946. More than 300 railroad cars and 60 locomotives can be seen on the complicated display.

A contactless, interactive picture book tells the story of the Duke Energy Holiday Trains. Guests can turn the pages with just a wave of their hand.

Another change brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic: the Holiday Junction riding train will not enter the station this year.

Guests can see Santa Claus, but this year they won’t be able to sit on his lap. Santa Claus will arrive on November 27th.

The Duke Energy Holiday Trains exhibition is included in the museum admission fee.
