The Cincinnati Bearcats and UCF Knights will compete in week 7 AAC college football action from Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday afternoon.
The UCF Knights will look to build on a 20-16 win over East Carolina last time around. Mikey Keene has thrown 427 yards, 3 touchdowns and a pair of interceptions, while Johnny Richardson and Isaiah Bowser each have 200+ rushing yards this season. Ryan O’Keefe has 315 yards while Brandon Johnson and Jaylon Robinson each have over 200 yards this season. In defense, Bryson Armstrong has a team strength of 45 tackles while Josh Celiscar has a team strength of 3 sacks.
The Cincinnati Bearcats will have their last time out with a 52-3 win against Temple. Desmond Ridder has thrown 1,304 yards, 12 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, while Jerome Ford has 520 yards with 8 touchdowns on the ground. Alec Pierce leads the Bearcats with 387 yards on 21 grabs with two touchdowns and Tyler Scott has 210 yards with 3 scores. Four other Cincinnati players have over 100 yards this season. In defense, Deshawn Pace has a team high of 40 tackles while Darrian Beavers has a team high of 3 bags.
UCF is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 street games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games total, while the Under 4-1 is street underdog in their last 5 games. Cincinnati is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games, while the Over is 4-0 in their last 4 conference games.
I understand why Cincinnati is favored at home, and strong, but it just feels like a lot of points are left on the table with UCF. Sure, the Knights weren’t the same without Dillon Gabriel at the center, but that’s a lot for a UCF team more than capable of making this game a game. I think this is one of the two toughest games, or maybe three, that Cincinnati has left so it will be about making sure they stay intact with the perfect record. Covering so many points will not be high on the agenda. Give me UCF and the points.
