Cincinnati shoots 4 people – including 2 children

The two children are in critical condition, “with one potentially fatally injured,” said Emily Szink, a police spokeswoman for Cincinnati, in a statement. Two adults described as men in their late teens sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Police responded to a report of several people shot near McHenry and Cavanaugh avenues around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, Szink’s statement said, south of Westwood Northern Boulevard. The victims were brought from the crime scene to nearby hospitals.

There is no information on a potential suspect and the investigation is ongoing, Szink said.
