• • Ceremonial first pitch: Retired Ohio Senator Rob Portman is set to kick out ceremonial first place. Senator Portman will throw the ball from his seat (behind the Reds’ dugout) onto the field.
• • In remembrance: A moment of remembrance before the national anthem to honor the lives of former Reds players, coaches and staff who have passed away since opening day last year, including a special tribute to the Hall of Famer Joe Morgan.
• • National Anthem: Marlana VanHoose from Denver, Kentucky will sing the national anthem.
• • Honorary captains: Lisa and Summer Morgan, the daughter and granddaughter of Hall of Famer Joe Morgan, will serve as Honorary Captains of the game.
• • Player introductions: The rosters of both teams will be announced and players will line the first and third base paths for introductions.
• • Overpass: The pre-game transfer will be performed by two F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 112th (one-twelfth) Stingers Fighter Wing from the 180th Fighter Wing Ohio Air National Guard Base in Toledo, Ohio.
• • Game Ball Delivery: The Reds will pay tribute to all frontline workers and medical professionals, and a local Frontline All-Star, Som Vongprachanh of Kroger Marketplace in Oakley, will receive an official match ball during this ceremony.
• • Unity celebration with student-athletes from Reds Youth Academy: Pre-game ceremonies that highlight a commitment to positive change and inclusivity in the community and recognize members of the Reds RBI 18U baseball team who have signed letters of intent to play college baseball. (Official signing ceremony in honor of all players, which will be announced later this spring)
• • Findlay Market Basket: Findlay Market representatives will present their annual Findlay Market Basket presentation to Red’s President and COO Phil Castellini.
4:10 p.m. – Opening Game – Cincinnati Reds v St. Louis Cardinals

• • Cincinnati Bell Hometown Hero: First Sergeant Adam Koster (ret.) Is honored as the Cincinnati Bell Hometown Hero of the Game. 1SG Koster served 35 years in military intelligence, most recently with the United States Central Command in Tampa, FL.
• • Kroger first aiders: Fireman / EMT Chris Courtney of the Worthington (OH) Fire Department is honored as the Kroger First Responder of the game. Chris has been with Worthington FD for 22 years and with Ohio Task Force One for seven years.
• • God bless America: Master Sergeant Christin Foley of Wright Patterson Air Force Base “Band of Flight” will sing “God Bless America” during the 7th inning distance. Before we sing “God Bless America” we take a short break to honor the life lost in the global pandemic.

• • Dave Parker Book Signing, April 3rd: Reds Hall of Famer Dave Parker will be signing copies of his new autobiography, “Cobra: A Life of Baseball and Brotherhood”, on Saturday, April 3, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
