Cincinnati Opera announces Summer 2021 at Summit Outdoor Series

This July, the Cincinnati Opera invites you to the Summer at Summit, the redesigned open-air festival in Summit Park in Blue Ash. You’ll experience all the hallmarks you love at a Cincinnati Opera event – glorious singing, inspiring storytelling, and enchanting music from internationally renowned guest artists, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Opera Chorus.

At the 2021 Summer Festival, three popular operas will be presented non-stop in specially tailored 90-minute versions that include their full stories and favorite music. All three shows will feature world-class singers, many of whom you will recognize from previous Cincinnati Opera productions.

Carmen

The Barber of Seville

July 24 & 29, 2021 | 8:30 p.m.

Rossini’s masterful, loudly laughing comedy is packed with fast-paced punchlines and sharp melodies – from one of the most famous overtures in the world to the instantly recognizable “Figaro! Figaro! Figaro!” from “Largo al factotum.”
