In a poll that ended March 26th, Cincinnati.com readers selected winners for the Cincinnati Enquirer Athlete of the Week, presented by Mercy Health for the March 15-21 voting period.
The winners will receive a certificate sent through the school’s sports department. They are broadcast for a month at a time.

You don’t have to be a subscriber to vote. This period lasts Monday evening until 5 p.m. every Friday during the season. Please send all nominations for the previous week’s performances to [email protected] by Sunday evening.
This week’s winners are:
Ohio Boys Spring Team: Lakota East Lacrosse – Against Pickerington North, Lakota East had double the goals with a 16-8 win.
Ohio Girls Spring Team: Anderson Lacrosse – Anderson beat Fenwick 13: 5 at the regular season opener on March 20th.
Boys’ team from North Kentucky / Indiana: Conner basketball – The Cougars won the championship in the 33rd district and are 15-6 total.
Girls’ team from Northern Kentucky / Indiana: Ryle basketball – The Raiders beat Cooper to win the 33rd district tournament, making them 22 total.
Basketball players for boys: Riley Osterbur, Conner – The Senior Guard scored 20 points in the 73-47 win over Ryle in the 33rd Ward Championship game on March 19. He also scored the winner’s basket in the final seconds of the semi-finals over Boone County. It was called the tournament MVP.
Girls basketball player: Quinn Eubank, Ryle – She was MVP of the 33rd district tournament after averaging 17 points and 12 rebounds, including 24 and 17 in the semifinals.
Boys Lacrosse: Kyle Collet, Lakota East – The senior had four goals and one assist in the 16-8 win over Pickerington North on March 20.
Girls Lacrosse: Aly Young, Seton – As a newcomer to her first game at Seton, she led her team to a 19-12 win over Woodford in the first game of the season with 7 goals and 2 assists.
NKY Boys Bowler: Kyan Brewer, Pendleton County – He won the Region 5 Individual Championship. He shot a 715 and averaging 238 in the stepladder bracket, which included a 202-196 win over his brother Koby Brewer.
NKY Girls Bowler: Abby Bach, Highlands – She won the singles championship in the Region 5 tournament on March 15, beating three-time defending champion and Campbell County’s senior Kaylee Hitt 177-171 in the final.
Wrestlers: Ian Hughes, Simon Kenton – The senior advances to KHSAA State Final Wrestling after winning the heavyweight class (285 pounds) and setting his record at 27-1.
