Fort Thomas, Kentucky – March 31, 2021 – Charles Infosino, a freelance writer and author of The Inofficial Guidebook to Paramount’s Kings Island and Ultra Bunny: To the Rescue in Cincinnati, has just written a children’s book called Pina Panda: Adventures in Pandacornlandia. The book was illustrated and edited by Missy McGrew, an exceptionally talented Pennsylvania artist. Infosino recently announced “Instinct, Time & Place. My Encounter with the Other Galaxy ”- the autobiography of Mary Oyaya, who played Jedi master Luminara Unduli in Star Wars and was the first African model to be featured on an Australian magazine cover and to be circulated in a fashion magazine.
Pina Panda is an eight-year-old Unipanda – a panda bear with a unicorn horn on his head. Unipandas are magical creatures that live on an island called Pandacornlandia. It’s somewhere between southeast China and northwest Australia.
The book tells some of Pina’s family adventures and teaches about the values of family, friendship and good imagination. “Pina Panda” is aimed at children aged 6 to 10 years. It is based on bedtime stories that Infosino wrote for his eight-year-old daughter.
