The book was illustrated and edited by Missy McGrew, an exceptionally talented Pennsylvania artist. Infosino recently edited ‘Instinct, Time & Place’. My Encounter with the Other Galaxy The autobiography of Mary Oyaya, who played Jedi master Luminara Unduli in Star Wars and was the first African model to be featured on an Australian magazine cover and circulated in a fashion magazine.
Pina Panda is an eight-year-old Unipanda, a panda bear with a unicorn horn on her head. Unipandas are magical creatures that live on an island called Pandacornlandia. It’s somewhere between southeast China and northwest Australia.
The book tells some of Pina’s family adventures and teaches about the values of family, friendship and good imagination. ‘Pina Panda is aimed at children aged 6 to 10 years. It is based on bedtime stories that Infosino wrote for his eight-year-old daughter.

‘The book is easy to read and the chapters are a good length for a bedtime story. My daughter loved hearing about Pina’s adventures and writing self-connection text with parts of the story, behavior trainer Tina Pratt said in the Cincinnati Family Magazine book review. She shared of Pina’s disappointment with a trip that was canceled due to COVID-19 and was excited to see Pina finally get to ride the big rides on Queen’s Island.
