Christian Science Reading Room Opens October 4th – Los Alamos Reporter

Congregation is invited to stop by the new Christian Science Reading Room at 800 Trinity Drive, Suite G (formerly Uli’s), in the Mari Mac Shopping Center. From October 4th, it will be open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The reading room provides a quiet place to study the Bible, the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, founder of the Christian Science Church, and other Church publications such as the international newspaper The Christian Science Monitor. A large number of Bible translations and reference works are also available for studying, as is a lending library.

The Christian Science Church, also known as The Church of Christ, Scientist, is a Christian denomination that focuses on the Bible and especially the teachings of Jesus. The Bible along with Science and Health with Keys to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy serve as pastors for this worldwide Church. Readings from both books form the basis for the Sunday Christian Science services, which will be held at 10 a.m. at the Society’s new location. On Wednesday from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Zoom testimonial meetings take place.

Fellowship members are invited to visit the new Christian Science Reading Room and attend Sunday services and Wednesday Society meetings. For more information, visit the company’s website or call 505-709-7069. All are welcome.
