Former Cincinnati Bengals recipient Chad Johnson – also known as Ochocinco – is apparently in Queen City and is eager to attend the Reds versus Pittsburgh Pirates game at the Great American Ball Park on Tuesday night.
But he also wants to pick up the Bengali quarterback Joe Burrow for dinner at 8 p.m. – fulfilling the Batboy duties for the entire game would therefore be out of the question.
Burrow emerged from a Twitter slumber in March, with a funny response to Chad’s suggestion to propose a six-month meal preparation plan for Burrow and Cleveland Browns recipient, Odell Beckham Jr.
“Sorry Chad, I can’t eat McDonald’s every day,” Burrow tweeted.
Former Winton Woods High School standout player Mike Edwards, a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defender, is expected to take out the ceremonial opening court in Wednesday’s Pirates Reds game at GABP.
Johnson congratulated Burrow, the Bengals and their fans after Cincinnati picked the quarterback with the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
