Some of the best artists in the country are playing a concert to benefit zoos and aquariums across the country – including the Cincinnati Zoo. Artists such as Brad Paisley, Old Dominion, Ashley McBryde, Wynonna, Riley Green, Jessie James Decker and Shy Carter will be playing a private digital concert with proceeds for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ 240 zoos and aquariums. The virtual concert is scheduled for Wednesday evening and costs at least USD 30. It is open to all members of the Cincinnati Zoo and members of other AZA facilities. “COVID-19 has had a major impact on zoos and aquariums around the world. Despite a year with a loss of income, we have to feed, care for and medically care for our precious animals every day, ”said a statement from the concert organizers.
