COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Miguel Berry scored two goals in a time of 1:18 and the Columbus Crew defeated FC Cincinnati 3-2 on Friday evening to score a series of six defeats. Columbus won for the first time since July 24th when they beat Atlanta 1-0. Cincinnati are winless in a franchise record of 11 games, seven of which are drawn. Berry leveled it at 2 in the 81st minute when goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer failed to pack it up and hit a short tap-in from the ricochet. In the 83rd minute, Cincinnati defender Gustavo Vallecilla tried to clear a save from Vermeer, but steered the ball off Berry’s thigh into the net.
