Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Name Rachel Simon Senior Vice President, US Executive & Professional Lines Claims

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE) – Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) announced today that it has named Rachel Simon as Senior Vice President, Head of US Commercial Private and Nonprofit, Professional Lines and Transactional Liability Claims.

Rachel comes to BHSI with more than 20 years of experience in Executive & Professional Lines. Most recently she was with the Great American Insurance Group, where she covered agents and warranties. Prior to joining Great American, Rachel’s extensive claims experience included managerial and technical roles with multinational insurance carriers as well as a legal partner in private practice. She holds a bachelor’s and law degree from Fordham University.
