Bearcats is adding the September football schedule to Army West Point’s game program

CINCINNATI – The UC Bearcats have agreed to play a 2020 home football game against the Army West Point Black Knights, Athletics Director John Cunningham announced on Wednesday.

The Bearcats and Black Knights will battle it out at Nippert Stadium on Saturday, September 26th. Game time and TV program will be announced shortly.

The teams last met in 2004, with the all-time series since 1963 ending 3: 3. UC will play a second leg at Michie Stadium in 2031.

UC returns 16 of 22 starters on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, 55 letter winners, and 13 of the team’s 15 best tacklers from the 2019 team that won 11 games, the AAC East Division title and the Birmingham Bowl. The Bearcats finished the season in 21st place in all three major polls, won 11 games for the fourth time in the program’s 132 seasons, and had 11 wins in a row for the second time in school history.

The Bearcats are expected to start their 2020 home game against Austin Peay on Saturday, September 19th.
