Audacy and New England Patriots extend broadcast contract

Audacy and the New England Patriots have announced a multi-year television partnership extension. The agreement includes the exclusive continuation of the Patriots Monday and Patriots Friday programs led by six-time New England Patriots Super Bowl champion, head coach Bill Belichick, and Patriots players on WEEI (WEEI-FM / AM) in Boston become. The partnership between WEEI and the Patriots began in 1995.

Belichick will kick off Patriots Monday with a weekly appearance on the WEEI morning show, The Greg Hill Show, which will air from 6:00 am to 10:00 am ET. The Gresh and Keefe lunchtime show, starring Andy Gresh and Rich Keefe, will continue to feature a rotation of player interviews, including an offensive player, a defensive player, and a weekly special guest, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET. In the afternoon show “Ordway, Merloni and Fauria”, hosted by Glenn Ordway, Lou Merloni and the two-time Super Bowl champion and former Patriots tight end Christian Fauria, the Patriots will start as quarterback from 2pm to 6pm ET time window. “Patriots Friday” also returns every Friday with an additional team-oriented program.

In addition to the Patriots-focused on-air program, WEEI will also be welcoming special guests throughout the week to break down the NFL landscape. Guests include Audacy Insiders Mike Lombardi, Michael Irvin, WFAN 101.9 FM / 660 AM (WFAN-FM / AM), co-host of the morning show Boomer Esiason, ESPN analysts Tedy Bruschi and Keyshawn Johnson, and NBC sports analyst Peter King .
