LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) – The 2022 Maui Invitational is hosted by Arkansas, the state of Ohio, and the state of San Diego.
The field announced on Thursday will also include Arizona, Louisville, Texas Tech, Creighton and Cincinnati for the November tournament at the Lahaina Civic Center.
The tournament was moved to Asheville, North Carolina last year due to the coronavirus pandemic and is returning to Hawaii this year.
Arkansas was revived under coach Eric Musselman and reached the Elite Eight in its sophomore season. Arizona is a two-time Maui Invitational Champion and won the trophy in 2000 and 2014.
Creighton, who reached the Sweet 16 this season, will be making his debut on Maui along with Texas Tech.
