Cincinnati’s beloved amusement park, Kings Island, has been a reminder of the life of the Greater Cincinnatians for nearly five decades.
The park opened to the public on April 29, 1972 and celebrated 49 years as a staple of entertainment in Queen City.
“When the park first opened, there were just over 60 attractions open to the public. Today, after years of investment, there are more than 100 rides and attractions, including Orion, the seventh giga roller coaster of 2020, the best attraction for new amusement parks in 2020. ” on the planet, “reads a Kings Island publication.
In 2020, the opening of the park was delayed until July due to the pandemic.
But this year the park will open to the public on May 15, and season pass holders will be able to enjoy the park a little earlier on May 8 and 9.
Soak City Water Park on Kings Island opens on May 29th on Memorial Day Weekend.
