High school athletes from around the area will be honored at the Cincinnati High School Sports Awards tonight.
The show featured more than 20 professional athletes and coaches as hosts and announcers, including Kevin Garnett, Chipper Jones, TJ Watt, Katie Ledecky, Kerri Walsh Jennings and Aaron Rodgers.
The show will be free to view on the event website thanks to continued support from sponsors including Nationwide Children’s Hospital Sports Medicine and Raising Cane’s. The awards show will highlight Player of the Year in many sports, Male and Female Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, and several special awards.
The event will be hosted by sports broadcasters Laura Rutledge and Desmond Howard.
These guests and local business sponsors have teamed up to help the Cincinnati Enquirer honor the best in local high school sports of the past year through an on-demand broadcast show – a live show was uncertain.
The show will continue to be available on the event website after it airs so you can share as much as possible with friends and family.
With the high school season being adjusted by COVID-19, some sports that ended too late may not be featured, but the award winners and winners will be featured on the show’s website.
